Joe Kim

Joseph Kim is Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Citrix, where he is responsible for the development and delivery of all Citrix technology solutions. Harnessing the innovation power of the company's global engineering workforce, he leads R&D across all areas of the business.

He brings to the company over 20 years of experience managing global product, engineering and cross-functional teams, and is passionate about addressing complex customer challenges through the delivery of powerful and highly efficient technologies.

Before joining Citrix, he was the Executive Vice President, Engineering and CTO at SolarWinds, where he was responsible for managing highly distributed teams across 12 countries to produce over 60 products that service more than 350,000 customers. He was also an integral member of the team that more than doubled the revenue of the business and took the company public within a four year time span. Kim has held other executive roles at Hewlett Packard, General Electric and Berkshire Hathaway.

Kim also sits on the board of directors of two companies: SmartBear, an industry leading Application Test Automation and API Management company; and Andela, a technology and outsourcing company that provides top-tier engineering talent for some of the top technology companies around the world.
