Madhu Reddy has 24+ years of experience in technology and driving innovation in banking and pharma, covering business development, technology strategy, delivery, cyber-security, and operations. With a genuine passion for innovation and the growth of individuals, Madhu fostered high-performance teams and spearheaded innovative solutions. His international background, having lived in five countries across three continents, provided him with a unique perspective on the importance of diversity.

Presently, Madhu assumes the role of EVP & Chief Information Officer at Republic Bank of Chicago, where he also serves as a member of the executive team. In this capacity, Madhu is responsible for leading the IT department, driving innovation, and collaborating with business leaders to leverage technology as a strategic tool to facilitate growth and deliver a differentiated experience. Furthermore, Madhu has forged valuable partnerships with emerging start-ups and FinTechs, bringing forth innovative solutions.

Prior to his tenure at Republic Bank, Madhu worked at Popular Bank, where he held several technology leadership positions both domestically and globally. In these roles, he led IT strategy, Digital, enterprise architecture, data analytics, software development, M&A integration, shared services, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Earlier in his career, Madhu managed business operations in Central Asia for Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.

Madhu's contributions have garnered recognition within the field, culminating in his prestigious win of the Chicago CIO of the Year award in 2021. He is a sought-after speaker at banking and technology events, sharing his insights and expertise with industry peers. Additionally, Madhu actively serves on the Executive Services Corps (ESC) board and finance committee.

Madhu holds an MBA and a Master's in electrical engineering and is a boardroom Qualified Technology Expert (QTE).
