Nick Costides

Nick Costides was the Global VP, IT at UPS where he had global responsibility for the company’s industry-leading portfolio of technologies that power UPS customers’ supply chains. In this role, he headed the technology organizations that support UPS Supply Chain, International, and Subsidiary Technology organizations.   He also oversaw the /the office of the CIO and the company’s IT Strategy Group. Additionally, Nick led UPS’s Technology Transformation program and is a member of the company’s Venture Investment, Information Security, Enterprise Risk, and Technology Governance Committees.

Previously, Nick was President of UPS’s Operations Technology Group responsible for the planning, sortation and delivery technologies that power the UPS Global Smart Logistics Network. Nick also served as President Transportation Technology responsible for the technology organizations that support UPS Airlines and UPS’s Worldport mega-hub, and he was President of UPS’s Customer Technology Group where he was responsible for all customer-facing solutions such as UPS MyChoice and ups.com.

Nick’s professional recognitions include Computerworld Premiere 100 IT Leader and Information Week Elite 100. He also has secured several patents that support UPS’s intellectual property. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Nick serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Ware2Go, is a member of the Board of Directors for Points of Light, serves on the Advisory Council for ToolBank USA, is a member of the Atlanta Technology Professionals Executive Advisory Board, and serves on the advisory board for Hands on Atlanta.
