Sherry Wu

Sherry Wu is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the University of Michigan Credit Union (UMCU). In her role, she led the strategic direction and alignment of information technology with the overall credit union mission. She oversees all IT functions including application development, cyber security, and infrastructure. She has successfully managed large-scale software development projects and created high-performing teams.

She has over 20 years of experience in IT across different industries and companies and has been with UMCU as a CTO since 2017. She has her Master of Science in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
