About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused Engagement Manager to join our team. The role is pivotal in delivering exceptional client service across a portfolio of advisory and innovation engagements. You will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-value outcomes, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
The Engagement Manager will work within the Engagement and Operations team and may support with internal projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of client engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating trusted advisor relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources, manage timelines, and achieve client objectives.
- Identify opportunities for engagement expansion, cross-sell, and upsell with existing client accounts.
- Drive the engagement kickoff process and proactively address engagement deliverables, presentations, and reporting.
- Manage weekly meetings and monthly status reporting, including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, distributing action items, and scheduling follow-up sessions.
- Gather and synthesize client feedback to inform continuous improvement and services.
- Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen engagement delivery, operational excellence, and team effectiveness.
- Optimize processes end-to-end and lead process redesign by mapping current processes, designing future state, developing and executing implementation and change management plans.
- Provides regular updates to leadership, facilitates issue resolutions, conducts regular project calls, delivers communication and training as necessary.
Ideal Qualifications:
- An excellent analytical and creative problem-solving approach to defining and solving problems.
- Experience developing and delivering client presentations/communications
- Ability to synthesize complex information into digestible and actionable executive-level briefs.
- Proven track record of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work confidently with C-level executives.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint – data visualization experience a plus.
- 4 years of experience of project management in a client-facing role, ideally in the technology industry.
- 2+ Years of experience in a project management platform like ClickUp, Jira, Monday.com, Basecamp, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- PMP or Six Sigma Belt is a plus.
- Experience working in the channel is a plus.
- Startup or small business experience and mindset.

Compensation:
Vation Ventures is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Denver, CO, is $65,000 to $70,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
