Chuck Hudson

Chuck Hudson retired in December of 2023 after 14 years at Palmetto Goodwill, initially serving as their CIO and later as Chief Operating Officer. Goodwill marked his first venture into the nonprofit sector. During his tenure, he completed both the Senior Leadership Program and the Executive Development Program. These 18-month-long training programs were specifically designed to prepare participants for a CEO role. His responsibilities at Goodwill were extensive, covering Marketing, IT, Loss Prevention, Safety, Finance, HR, Community Service, Facilities, Computer Works, ECommerce, Transportation, and he played a pivotal role in leading Retail during times of leadership transition. Furthermore, he transitioned all of their applications to the cloud and implemented a managed network, ensuring a secure system for Goodwill. Prior to his time at Goodwill, he led IT teams in manufacturing and distribution sectors, including some retail, and he also owned a restaurant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business and an associate degree in programming.
