Eric brings more than 22 years of experience, with focuses on digital analytics, ecommerce, media, email, conversion rate optimization, data strategy, and measurement frameworks. He has worked with a wide range of clients over his career including Colgate, Ford, PepsiCo, Gatorade, Intuit, United Rentals, Carlson Hotels, SAP, Electrolux, and Intel.
In his current role, Eric serves as the Executive Director of the analytics & data insights team, a department he founded more than 15 years ago after joining VMLY&R from H&R Block where he led ecommerce and customer acquisition efforts for TaxCut Software.
This 43-person department of insight analysts and data scientists help VMLY&R clients understand and optimize their online presence by collecting, evaluating, and providing actionable insights against their marketing activities, on-site performance, unstructured data, and social channels.
Under Eric’s leadership, this team has played a vital role across all work at VMLY&R and partners closely with the creative teams to help drive award-winning work, which has resulted in multiple Cannes Lions and Effie’s.
Eric’s superpower is helping clients and internal teams better understand how data can play a role in the work and how to take insights from data and turn those insights into better business outcomes.
