A self-described “change agent,” Uduak has nearly two decades of experience in the fields of information technology, research applications, business systems, and enterprise computing, all of which make him uniquely suited to lead one of the nation’s best public schools of medicine.

Before taking the helm at UNC School of Medicine, Uduak’s tenure at Duke University included a position as head of IT at Duke Clinical Research Institute, the world’s largest academic clinical research organization. Uduak also worked for Pepsi and Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting) and acquired his MBA from Wake Forest University. At home in Durham, Uduak enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and playing golf.
