Silverfort has received incredible feedback across our Innovation Advisory Councils. We sat down with Hed Kovetz, CEO & Co-Founder and Dana Tamir, VP of Market Strategy at Silverfort to see how they've been able to leverage Vation Ventures to help accelerate their business.
Silverfort is the provider of the first Unified Identity Protection Platform that consolidates security controls across corporate networks and cloud environments to block identity-based attacks. Using innovative agentless and proxyless technology, Silverfort seamlessly integrates with all existing IAM solutions (such as AD, ADFS, RADIUS, Azure AD, Okta, Ping, AWS IAM, etc.), extending their coverage to assets that could not be protected until today, such as homegrown/legacy applications, IT infrastructure, file systems, command-line tools, machine-to-machine access and more. It continuously monitors all access of users and service accounts across both cloud and on-premise environments, analyzes risk in real time using an AI-based engine, and enforces adaptive authentication and access policies. Silverfort allows organizations to prevent data breaches, achieve compliance, reduce costs and simplify cloud migration.
It's Not Just For the Pipeline
When we initially joined Vation, our goal was to generate a lead pipeline. However, after having a number of opportunities to get in front of tech leaders and present our technology, we found that the feedback we are getting from these meetings is invaluable as well. It helped us better understand the different priorities and challenges tech leaders are facing these days, and fine-tune our messaging to align with their needs. We found out what parts of the solution presentation are difficult for them to understand, if they wanted us to dive deeper into technical explanations, or talk more about the business benefits. We ended up with both new leads and valuable market feedback that helped us better communicate with tech leaders, and improved our overall messaging.
We received a recommendation about Vation, and liked the idea of the councils that provide an opportunity for an open discussion and collaboration, resulting in generation of new opportunities as well as market feedback.
What Benefits Have You Seen?
In terms of pipeline generation, we received 2-3 follow up meeting requests for each session we did. In many cases these follow ups turned into sales opportunities and even into customers.
The Vation team has offered to conduct bi-weekly meetings to see if they can help us connect (or re-connect) with the tech leaders who expressed interest during the sessions. These meetings have been very helpful. The fact that the Vation team continues to follow up on potential opportunities, and we can ask for their help when we struggle to reach out and re-engage contacts, is very beneficial.
By giving Silverfort opportunities to present to tech leaders, Vation has assisted us generate new opportunities, and helped us align our messaging to better address customer needs.
