George has more than 18 years of experience as a management executive and consultant. His expertise includes IT transformation strategy for Mergers & Acquisitions; IT outsourcing transitions and transformations; project and program management as well as organization development and change management. George equally has deep passion and expertise in business and marketing analytics, strategic business intelligence and business statistics. Prior to joining VIP, George was Director, Channels architecture and performance at hibu. He also served as Chief Information Officer at KCB Bank. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) most recently as Chief Technology Officer for clients including Cargill, General Dynamics and BHP Billiton.
George is also an active member of several professional bodies and associations including the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society, the Academy of Management, the Association of Information Systems, the Society for Information Management and a contributing writer to the Journal of Enterprise Architecture.
George also mentors high school and college students through the Society for Information Managements Science, Technology and Engineering (STEM) outreach program, encouraging minority students to develop a passion for and embrace careers in the field of science and technology. He is also a contributor to numerous charitable organizations such as the Save the Children Fund and Feed the Hungry International
George has a PhD in Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in Information Management from Syracuse University and a Bachelors’ degree in Information Systems from Strayer University.
